Ubuntu GUI feels quite sluggish to the point of being unusable. I've been living with this issue for months, hoping next update might fix the problem, but no such luck! I've searched far and wide looking for a solution but everything I read so far doesn't appear to address the issue in current release. I believe I've all required updates(see below) but still no joy. In case I missed something, please point me to the solution. I used 'ubuntu-bug xorg' so I'm assuming all required logs/info is already attached. In case not, I'm attaching dmesg.txt, i915_error_state, Xorg.0.log. Please let me know if you require any additional information.
