Pending the crash report requested in #3, it's likely to be that I
think.

Title:
Gnome Shell crashes after resume on Disco

Status in gnome-shell package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  System - XPS13 9370

To the best of my knowledge, this was working fine last week. I
updated the system via Apt, the system fails to resume after being
suspended (via lid close). There is a blank screen for a few seconds,
followed by the cursor appearing (still blank background) and then
gnome crashes and comes back to the login screen.
