I can confirm this issue on my system with this version/kernel: Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS Linux clds 4.19.0-041900-generic #201810221809 64Bit Different applications are disappearing after locking the screen while some are still shown after screen lock alt + f2 -> "r" -> return works as a temporary solution. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-shell-extension-appindicator in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1719192 Title: Some Top Icons Disappear After Screen Locks - 17.10 Status in gnome-shell-extension-appindicator package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Hi friends. I'm testing Ubuntu 17.10 with Gnome 3.26. I noticed some top bar icons disappear after my screen locks and I go back in to my active session. As an example, I currently have Quassel, Telegram, and Nextcloud sync client in the upper right corner displaying their task tray icons. If I lock my screen and re-authenticate back in to my active session, Quassel remains, but Telegram and Nextcloud are gone. The only way to get them back is by closing the application the missing icon belongs to and re-launching it. Thanks for all of your hard work!
