Title:
Loading larger folders with images takes a lot of time

Status in Nautilus:
  Invalid
Status in nautilus package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
I have lots of pictures on my computer and they are taken on digital camera.
It makes them 1-6 MB each, and it is common to have 300-500 files in one
folder. But using Nautilus to navigate there is a huge error, until I can do
anything in that folder, it takes more than a minute. The file list does not
appear instantly, but files appear as they get a thumbnail.
See the attached screen recording, in my case it took more than 1 minute and
10 seconds to be able to do anything in that folder. It is a blocking bug.

And thumbs do not have a standard size, like a square, they are shows
upper/lower depending on the portrait/landscape type of picture.
