Title:
  cheese crash with nouveau drivers

Status in cheese package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  This is on a friends pc that I won't have access to. Older nvidia
  chipset but running nouveau drivers since nvidia-96 drivers are broken
  in 12.04. Cheese crashes on startup with the following:

  $ cheese

  (cheese:2927): Gdk-WARNING **: The program 'cheese' received an X Window
System error.
  This probably reflects a bug in the program.
  The error was 'GLXBadContext'.
    (Details: serial 155 error_code 168 request_code 153 minor_code 6)
    (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
     that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
     To debug your program, run it with the GDK_SYNCHRONIZE environment
     variable to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
     backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)
