Public bug reported: Installed/uninstalled/installed again a couple of nvidia applications in an attempt to access nvidia-smi and identify performance issues.
Once I was able to monitor and test the graphics card and processors I found the graphics card did not appear to be utilized by Steam games at all. I attempted to install the proprietary driver through the Software & Updates GUI and experienced a crash when I attempted to restart the computer and install changes.
