To avoid the xfce bug from https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xfce4-settings/+bug/1308105 I've previously forced the EDID settings via an xorg.conf file with NVidia graphics. If i use the following xorg.conf file with Intel graphics the mythfe (MythTV Frontend) user can't login. Section "Device" Identifier "Intel Graphics" Driver "intel" Option "AccelMethod" "sna" Option "TearFree" "true" Option "CustomEDID" "HDMI3:/etc/X11/samsung.edid" EndSection To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/1637073/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
