I cannot observe the issue in a fully up-to-date 18.04 amd64 virtual machine.
Could you please share a screenshot demonstrating the issue? Is OpenGL rendering enabled? Does toggling the option make any difference? (see https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/OpenGL#How_to_enable.2Fdisable_OpenGL) Can you try the snap package (sudo snap install libreoffice; snap run libreoffice.writer) and report whether the issue exists with it as well? Thanks! ** Changed in: libreoffice (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to libreoffice in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1797796 Title: embedding OLE objects in Writer leads to blurred print Status in libreoffice package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: Steps to create: Open blank Writer document Insert OLE object -> Libreoffice Calc enter some numbers leave OLE object -> The object is rendered blurred.
