To be honest, it's been over a decade and I don't even use Thunderbird anymore. ;)
I defer to anyone who is using a current version of the program but from my perspective this bug can probably be closed. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to thunderbird in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/155648 Title: Regression: Thunderbird New Mail sound cuts off before end Status in thunderbird package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: Binary package hint: thunderbird To reproduce: 1) Receive new mail 2) Listen to new mail sound Expected: Selected sound file will play completely Actual: Sound file cuts off about 1 second before end. Tested with several different .wav files. This happened a while back, I think in Edgy. It was subsequently fixed but it's happening again now since I upgraded to Gutsy. Thanks!
