Title:
Chromium panels disappear after switching app (Alt+Tab)

Status in chromium-browser package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  1. Open Gtalk from Chrome Web Store as a panel. It appears in the
bottom-right corner docked to the bottom edge of the screen.
  2. Alt+Tab between it and Chrome. It works as intended.
  3. Now try Alt+Tab between the app (or the browser) and the clean desktop.
Try going back to Chrome. The app is now nowhere to be found. At least in the
Opened Apps HUD when calling Alt+Tab. If you actually keep pressing Alt and hit
Tab twice, it will magically appear again. Calling the app from the browser
through its button has no effect.
