Unable to open https sites via proxy

Bug description:
I'm running Ubuntu 11.10 64 bit on Windows 7x64 with Wubi (Upgraded
from Natty). Trying to get online via proxy server at work, but I can
only open http sites, not https.
Direct connection to internet at home works fine.
