Title:
  Thunderbird Duplicate RSS messages

Status in thunderbird package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: thunderbird

  1)Description: Ubuntu 9.04
  Release: 9.04

  2)Installed Version: 2.0.0.23+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.9.04.1

  3) I expect Thunderbird not to re-download all data from all my RSS
  feeds.

  4) It downloads ALL messages; not just updated messages. So if one
RSS feed has a 100 messages and I kept 50 of those message. Next time
I open my email it will re-download 100 messages again. So, I get
duplicates of the message I keep as well as the ones I have deleted.

  5) This appears to be a re-occuring problem with Thunderbird.
