Due to a leftover from the previous design (before GNOME 3.26), this feature did not work correctly in all cases. It would work if run from the command line. It would not work if the last opened page was a subpage in the Details or Devices section and GNOME Settings was opened from the GUI (since that uses the .desktop). Test Case --------- 1. Open Settings to the Details > Users panel. 2. Close Settings 3. From the Activities Overview, open Settings Settings should open to the Users panel. Regression Potential -------------------- None. This is a simple bug fix to get the intended behavior in all situations To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/1770699/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
