Could you confirm that this is no longer a problem and that we can close the ticket? If it is still a problem, are you still interested in finding a solution to this bug? If you are, could you run the following (only once): apport-collect BUGNUMBER and upload the updated logs and and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue. Normally you can open attachments with a double click, either directly with the respecting application or thunderbird will show a window asking to set the application required to open the file. But for mails which are just being edited, the result of a double click on the attachment is different: - though you can still open pictures - double click on doc(x) files just shows a dialog about opening a file named "nsmail.bin" (name does not depend on the attachment's original file name) - double click on pdf files are being ignored (at least there is no reaction) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/thunderbird/+bug/1619128/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
