There have been many changes in Ubuntu and Firefox since that time you
reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the
updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently
supported Ubuntu version.
When you test it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated
logs by running only once:
apport-collect 1547768
and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.

firefox buttons stop working after installing the uBlock Origin add-on

Bug description:
All buttons stop working, but the context menus still work. So do
shortcuts. The problem disappears after one or two restarts, but is
reproducible (at least on the two machines I tried it out on) on first
install.
Edit: I now think it happens when I click on 'Manage Search Engines'
from my 'omnibar'.
