Hello Nikita, or anyone else affected, Accepted gnome-terminal into bionic-proposed. The package will build now and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome- terminal/3.28.2-1ubuntu1~18.04.1 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.

Turning transparency off immediately fixes the issue.
