Title: Switching users takes excessive time Status in unity-greeter package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: I'm not sure if this is the correct package on which to report this problem. Everything fine (took a few seconds) on switching users until a couple of days ago. Now it takes approx 30 econds to do so with lots of flashing on screen. Also, when user goes away from PC for a while and Ubuntu suspends, it displays login screen with Password box replaced by "Switch to Greeter". Thus, no obvious way to enter password. Clicking on "Switch to Greeter" gives (after a delay) login screen with password box.
