Title: empathy can't connect to gtalk network error Status in “empathy” package in Ubuntu: Invalid Bug description: worked fine until today, tried deleting and recreating the account, verified the password, still no luck. telnet talk.google.com on port 5222 gets a response (no outgoing firewall issue). Gtalk in gmail and Google Plus websites working and connecting without a problem.
