Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  No sound over headphones since upgrade to 17.04.
  Sound only from Speakers of Laptop. Alsamixer shows not muted / I can unmute 
it, doesn't matter.
  PulseAudio Volume Control lists Headpgones always as "non plugged in"

  [I've used ubuntu-bug -s audio and landed here after being shown
  multiple ["Text"* - Yes No Cancel] Dialogs.
