Thank you for reporting this issue to Ubuntu. The 16.10 release reached "end of life" on 20th July 2017. See this document for the currently supported Ubuntu releases: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Releases
Please upgrade to or install a supported release of Ubuntu and advise if the problem is still reproducible. Firefox 57 (Quantam) is available from the repositories of currently supported releases. ** Changed in: firefox (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to firefox in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1738677 Title: Runtime Error: Server Error in '/' Application Status in firefox package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: I have not got a clue how to use computers apart from using websites, so all I know is that on 'autism.org.uk' I went back to the Online Community forum page after cancelling a reply, three error panels came up, so I decided, not knowing why, to sign out, and a Runtime Error page remains the case and I can no longer get access to the Online Community forum, whilst all the other options are available. I went on the internet to find out what a runtime error involved, saw some advice about un-installing and re-installing firefox, which I followed via the Ubuntu Software icon, but it made no difference. Hence I reported the problem as is here the case. The system I have is Ubuntu 16.10, with Firefox 54.0 ~ and I cannot for the life of me work out how to install Firefox Quantum as it does not automatically do so. I got the download for FQ, clicked on the box, archive manager comes up ~ and I know not what that involves or how to make use of it.
