Public bug reported:

The scanimage command-line utility still tries to find devices when the
user just wants to see the help text. Reproducible by:

1.: Terminal
2.: "scanimage --help"
3.: Utility blocks until it finished searching for devices

Expected outcome: Program should not run when --help option is used (or
similar behaviour).

I just see now it says "experimental" a few times, but i never installed any
unstable or non-recommended versions. Just the good ol' Software Center and
preinstalled stuff.
