  Unusual screen output during restart/shutdown

Status in gnome-shell package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  When I restart or shutdown, I get a very unusual screen output like a
  terminal command had been ran. It's happened for the last few days and
  I just installed the beta 1 release yesterday for a fresh install.
  I'll upload a video after this comment to show you what's going on.
