They offer us to join #ubuntu-design When you clic on it a pop-up appears to ask you what application you would like to choose. If I would like to choose an other application it directs me to my home-folder .... It should open a list of applications instead. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/860536 Title: Please integrate with software-center to search for new apps Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: The current "right-click/open with/other application/find applications" could be improved by just offering to launch software-center with "--search mime:text/html" (or whatever mime-type). It should probably also a bit less nested ;) Like: "open-with/Find available applications" or even a top-level item for this in the context-menu. I leave the exact location to the designers. This would offer all the benefits of s-c like screenshots, reviews etc. To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/860536/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
