Hi, After some discussions with xnox and tkamppeter, here's a summary of the situations for this particular bug.
The foundation team know how to fix this issue, but so far they do not have a broken system to test the fixes on, before uploading, thus not reproducer. We basically needs someone who runs into the problem and did not apply any workaround or someone who can re-create the conditions needed to reproduce the bug for Xenial and then try the update. I know it might be extremely difficult to reproduce, but this will be needed for us to concludes things and SRU the proper fix. If you have a reproducer, please provide the steps in detail.
