In .dvi files with more than one such image, that cover the same part of the screen (although on different pages), the renderer overlays several images into one, rather than showing the single image belonging to that page. But his happens only when going back and forth between the affected pages. On the first encounter of the first image, it will be displayed correctly. I believe the 'clear box' procedure for that part of the screen is broken. Steps to reproduce: * create LaTeX .tex file with at least two ps images * view .dvi output with xdvi * when cycling through the pages of the document, the two images will get overlayed in each of the two separate figures Version numbers: Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS xdvik version 22.87 (Xaw toolkit) Libraries: kpathsea version 6.2.1, freetype version 2.5.5 KDE Plasma Version: 5.5.5 QT Version: 5.5.1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/texlive-bin/+bug/1622883/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
