Public bug reported:

After upgrade to Ubuntu 16.10 from 16.04 my VNC connected becaume
superslow even on my ethernet lan. So I tried to find anything on the
net but could not find any matching problems tried with 5 different vnc
clients before giving up and upgrading to ubuntu 17.04. But issue was
still there installed nomachine and the issue is still there.

Tried with the video=LVDS-1:d grub boot option that someone had solved
the issue with on the net but still there and now I read this article
and it seems to point to my internal graphic driver rather than the
remote client software, protocol or LAN speeds.
