Public security bug reported:

libwmf uses GD 2.0.1 BETA (see /src/extra/gd). This is a very old
version of what became libgd2. We need to remove the copied GD source
and instead rely on the maintained libgd2 package.

This issue has security implications (there may be security updates to
libgd that are not applied to the local copy).
