I am using Intel graphics driver on a Haswell 4770K GPU. Note however that GNOME Terminal is the only application which have the drop shadow issue, in the screenshot you can also see GNOME Calculator which does not suffer from this. I also tested with other applications and its only GNOME Terminal that have this issue.
