Rico, thanks for working on this. I would like to see your format-security patch forwarded upstream before I upload to Ubuntu. Please make sure the upstream bug # is mentioned in the patch. It looks like the upstream bug tracker is at bugzilla.gnome.org, product NetworkManager.
Could you change dh_install --list-missing to --fail-missing?
