Public bug reported:
When trying to install 16.10 on amchine with a NVidia GTX1050TI the
installer just gives a blank screen.
Installing with 16.04 reports an unrecogized chip set but carries on and
you can successfully install and run 16.04. If you now do an apt upgrade
the blank screen will occur.
Installing the latest driver direct from NVidia (375) on a recently
installed 16.04 works fine.
** Affects: nvidia-graphics-drivers (Ubuntu)
