look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many
changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem
may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if
you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu (Gnome) version.
When you test it and it is still an issue, kindly upload an updated
screenshot.

Can't read buttons in notification

Bug description:
When deja dup beings its backup the notification dialog in Gnome 3
shows 3 buttons, however text of the buttons is unavailable and only
shows an ellipse for each. Displays the same way on initial
notification in the middle of the message tray and as well from the
icon in the messaging tray.
This is on Ubuntu 12.04 64-bit. Running latest updates, Gnome 3 (with
font scaling to 0.8 using Gnome tweak). No other add-ons or changes
made to the base system.
