This is an intentional change. The icon no longer grays out on saving,
but it now changes its appearance to indicate that there are unsaved
changes (a star or dot appears over it, depending on your icon theme)
when appropriate.

Title:
  Bug/deffect on "save": under file

Status in libreoffice package in Ubuntu:
  Opinion

Bug description:
  1. I run Libre office on Windows 10.

I did an update a couple of days ago.

The "save" button does not turn from black to gray after clicking on
it to save what I wrote.

  2. I tried to report this bug or defect, through the feedback or suggest an
improvement options on the app, but after I start the process, and go a step or
two it cycles me back to the beginning.

The report a bug option or make a suggestion options need to be fixed so they
operate properly.

If this venue is not the right one, then email with the correct email address
to the right Libre department
