Thank you for your quick response. I just add this to my system: sudo add-apt-repository ppa:canonical-chromium-builds/stage
The certificate error now has disappeared. But also with the 54.0.2840.100-0ubuntu0.16.10.1326 version I can't watch videos on Twitch with Chromium. I only see a message that a Plug- In can't be loaded. Maybe another issue. Amazon.com seems to crash. Anyway thank you for your help so far. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to chromium-browser in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1641380 Title: chromium-browser: ERR_CERTIFICATE_TRANSPARENCY_REQUIRED for Symantec certs Status in chromium-browser package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Bug description: Chromium browser in xenial no longer trusts Symantec issued certificates.
