** Description changed: - With Lynx Point-LP HD Audio, there's no way to use HDMI 5.1 output. Video works though. Does neither work with HDMI onboard nor with Lenovo Onelink Pro Dock. I can activate the 5.1 profile, but it falls back to normal speakers (not hdmi). If I click on Digital Stereo (HDMI) at this point and restart, stereo works. - Deleted all pulse/phonon related stuff in my Home Profile - no change. + Sound over Laptop HDMI works, but won't work over Dock with Kernels + newer than 2.16 in all ubuntu releases since trusty.
