When I open any jpg or png image in eog, the colours are shown
incorrectly, as if only a subset of the full colour palette is being
displayed. This looks like a 'posterisation' effect. SVG images with
embedded pngs or jpgs seem to display correctly. jpg images from various
different sources all suffer the same problem. Shotwell viewer shows the
same image correctly.
