I'm not sure where to look for more information, but happy to debug
further. I find that when both 4k displays are active, when the mouse
cursor is within the external monitor area, both displays are on. When
the mouse cursor enters the laptop's display screen area, the laptop
screen either blanks or turns off (not sure which).
