Yeah, I realized only tardily that the language-selector workaround was needed in Xenial.
Saw the Debian bug, and agree it would be the better option in the long run. Only 'problem' is that then I'll need to modify my proposed upload at bug #1574745, since it currently includes dropping of hunspell-gl.
