Yep, I think it makes a lot of sense. It would make transition towards dicts provided by lo-dicts a lot easier indeed, and there are only gains.

That way, if/when a dictionary for one of the languages is added to libreoffice-dictionaries, we won't need to worry about conflicts. Also, openoffice.org-hyphenation can be dropped from pkg_depends in language-selector, so pkg_depends doesn't keep pulling e.g. Finnish and Indonesian hyphenation for all users.
