After ungrading network-manager to 1.1.93, though I failed to connect VPN though nm-applet,
however, If I use "pptpsetup .. ; pon .. ; ip route add default .." to establish PPTP VPN, then VPN will be able to connect successfully. --- So I think it's definitely the bug from network-manager instead of linux drivers or my network environment. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to network-manager-pptp in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1569301 Title: cannot connect pptp-vpn after upgrading via apt from 1.0.* to 1.1.93 Status in network-manager-pptp package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: After upgrading, the connection of VPN failed immediately I select the "VPN1" connect option in nm-applet.
