In that case setting the status to "Incomplete" would be more

Title:
  LightDM doesn't start

Status in lightdm package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
I'm using Ubuntu 13.04 dev with lightdm 1.6.0-0ubuntu2.1 0. On booting
my system it will change to console 7 and the screen does go black.
But after a few seconds this process stops and I'm seeing just text on
console 7. Trying to manually start lightdm will result in the same
behavior. If I'm installing GDM all is working fine. In the
  attachments is my Xorg.0.log.
