I'm unable to connect to VPNs at all because of this. They don't show up in the VPN Connections menu. The VPN Connections menu only shows "Configure VPN..." and the grayed out "Disconnect VPN". Clicking "Configure VPN..." or "Edit Connections..." brings up the window showing that my VPN connection configs do exist.

As such, it's impossible to switch connections manually, rendering the entire feature useless. Steps to reproduce: 1. Click on the nm-applet icon 2. Choose "Edit Connections..." 3. Click "Add" 4. Create a static network configuration (i.e. via Ethernet) Notice that this new connection is listed in the "Network Connections" window. 5. Click 'Close' (and restart your computer if you think this will make a difference) 6. Click on the nm-applet icon again Notice that the newly created connection does *not* show up in the drop-down menu that appears. In 14.04 (and before), this feature works as advertised.
