  System freezes if I connect my extern monitor via hdmi

Bug description:
  yesterday my notebook freezes when I connected my extern monitor, I tried it 
various times after new reboots, but the problem always occurred.
  Today I started my notebook with the extern monitor connected and to my joy 
everything went normally. Therefore I tried again to unplug it and plug it in 
again and the problem still occurs.
