Public bug reported:

When i install a Debian file ,it is not visible in Ubuntu software
center . Some times it is shown in unknown category, but some times it is
not shown in unknown category also.
I observed this behavior in both 12.04 and 14.04 LTS versions.

In 16.04 Beta version when i install a Debian file , after installing
immediately gnome -software is showing message like "couldn't find
respective package ".

This issue affects many users,as they cannot uninstall the product
through Ubuntu-software center or Gnome-software center.

** Affects: software-center (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New

** Package changed: nautilus (Ubuntu) => software-center (Ubuntu)
