This was not happening while I was in Xubuntu 15.04, so I suspect it is related to the update from 4.4.2 to 5.0.2. Also, 4.4.5 version, installed in parallel with 5.0.2 from the debs from libreoffice.org website, also does not work. I will try to install in parallel 4.4.2, to see if it works for me.
