Surprisingly, this bug no longer exists due to changes in the connect to server dialog.
I'm quite happy that the connect to server dialog has been streamlined, but very un-impressed that GNOME did nothing about this for nearly two years (and however long before I reported the bug) Since the bug has been resolved by virtue of the particular window no longer existing, I'm marking the bug as invalid. ** Changed in: nautilus (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/480210 Title: Connect to server password dialog could give more information Status in Nautilus: Invalid Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu: Invalid Bug description: Binary package hint: gvfs Consider the use case where a user is attempting to connect to two different servers, with two different accounts, and two different passwords.
