Same here since 15.04 on lenovo l540 (intel graphics). Changing the /etc/system.d/logind.conf default like suggested in comment 12 workarounded the problem for me. (For details and discussion see this SO thread: http://askubuntu.com/a/715052/18422 )
We should focus on making this configurable, but this concerns another package.
