Public bug reported: When trying to open certain text files, Gedit crashes for me. When a file crashes Gedit, the same thing happens when clicking on file or opening it from command line. It also doesn't matter if Gedit is already started or not (if it is started, opening such a file results in lost work on all unsaved files). As an example, in the attachment is the text file that always crashes Gedit for me. Here is the output when starting from command line: ------------------------ gedit RetroCollection.gcs ** ERROR:../../gi/pygi-argument.c:1583:_pygi_argument_to_object: code should not be reached Aborted (core dumped) ------------------------ Opening file in other editors is OK (tried with Geany and internal editor from Double Commander). It might be of importance that I have several plugins for Gedit from Ubuntu repository installed and active.
