The problem is that whenever I use "sudo service networking --full-restart" my GUI crashes. I'm not sure if it crashes only the GUI though. The crash was confirmed on fresh system install too. Thanks for your attention. --- ApportVersion: 1.23-0ubuntu3 Architecture: i386 CRDA: Error: [Errno 2] No such file or directory DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.10 Gconf: IfupdownConfig: auto lo iface lo inet loopback auto eth0 iface eth0 inet dhcp InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 11.10 "Oneiric Ocelot" - Release i386 (20111012) IpRoute: default via 192.168.228.2 dev eth0 metric 100 169.254.0.0/16 dev eth0 scope link metric 1000 192.168.228.0/24 dev eth0 proto kernel scope link src 192.168.228.147 IwConfig: lo no wireless extensions. eth0 no wireless extensions.
