Bug description:
Pidgin 2.6.6: "Available - Waiting for network connection" although '~$
route' indicates that my computer is connected to the network.
In this situation I can start Pidgin using the procedure Alt+F2 > 'pidgin
-f' though.
I expect that I can start Pidgin by running the command '~$ pidgin' if '~$
route' shows that my computer is connected to the network.
I expect that Pidgin does not print the misleading status message: "Waiting
for network connection."
