Title: Snippet plugin: snippets in python do not work Status in “gedit-plugins” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Snippets written in python do not work. The following steps provide an example with a snippet shipped with the Snippets plugin. 1. In Gedit 3.2.0, enable the Snippets plugin 2. Create a .C file 3. type "ginterface" and hit Tab This should trigger the "GObject interface" snippet written in Python; but it does nothing. Non Python snippets work alright In fact no snippet in Python would work (although the Python console plugin works alright) Starting gedit from the console do not show any error when trying to trigger a python snippet ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.10 Package: gedit-plugins 3.2.0-0ubuntu1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.0.0-12.20-generic-pae 3.0.4 Uname: Linux 3.0.0-12-generic-pae i686 ApportVersion: 1.23-0ubuntu3 Architecture: i386 Date: Sun Oct 23 22:18:11 2011 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 11.04 "Natty Narwhal" - Release i386 (20110427.1) ProcEnviron: PATH=(custom, no user) LANG=en_GB.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: gedit-plugins UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to oneiric on 2011-10-18 (5 days ago) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gedit-plugins/+bug/880542/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
